Vehicle Wrapping
Your work vehicles are on the road every day. A vinyl wrap puts your business name, logo and phone number on them, so every job and every drive across Auckland works as advertising. We wrap company cars, vans and utes, starting with properly prepped, clean paint so the vinyl goes on right.
In short: Details That Matter does vinyl wrapping for company vehicles in Auckland. Every wrap is quoted free, because the price depends on the vehicle, how much is covered and the artwork, and owner Josh Brits does the work himself.
A signwritten or wrapped vehicle is seen by everyone it passes, parks next to or pulls up outside. For a trade or service business, that's local advertising you've already paid for by owning the vehicle.
Most wrap problems, like lifting edges, bubbles and corners that peel back, come down to what was on the paint before the vinyl went on. Wax, tar, iron fallout and polish residue all stop vinyl bonding properly.
Details That Matter is a detailing business first, so getting paint properly clean and decontaminated is what we do every day. Josh checks the condition of the paint before quoting and tells you if anything needs attention first.
Describe what you have in your enquiry and Josh will tell you how to send him the artwork. He confirms the price, timing and where the job is done when he quotes.
Wraps last longest when they're washed gently and regularly. Hand wash with a pH-neutral car shampoo, keep a pressure washer well back from edges and seams, and skip brush car washes, which can catch edges. If you'd rather leave it to us, our exterior detailing and mobile detailing cover work vehicles too.
Every wrap is quoted, because the price depends on the size of the vehicle, how much of it is covered and the artwork. Quotes are free and no-obligation, and Josh confirms the price before any work starts.
Company cars, vans and utes are the usual jobs. Tell Josh what you drive and what you have in mind, and he'll confirm what he can do for your vehicle when he quotes.
It helps to have your logo and branding to hand. Describe what you have in your enquiry, and Josh will let you know what he needs and how to send it.
Vinyl only bonds properly to clean paint. Wax, tar, fallout and old polish residue stop it sticking and lead to lifting edges and bubbles. As a detailing business, getting paint properly clean is what we do every day.
Vinyl sits over the original paint rather than replacing it. Paint that is already flaking, resprayed poorly or damaged can be at risk when vinyl is applied or removed, so Josh checks the paint first and tells you if there's a problem.
Hand wash it with a pH-neutral car shampoo, keep a pressure washer well back from edges and seams, and avoid brush car washes. We also do exterior detailing if you'd rather leave it to us.
All of Auckland: Central, North Shore, West, East and South. Josh confirms where the wrap is done when he quotes.
